Peucedanum palustre (L.) Moench

the original Linnean specimen, classified as Selinum palustre L.is missing from the Linnean collections including the one from Sweden.

 

 

 

 

A sporadic hydrophile-hygrophile species. This taxon can be set in an artificial group of species which are very similar in concerning the habit, and especially the basal leaves (Cnidium silaifolium, Silaum silaus, Selinum carvifolia, Peucedanum palustre). The naturalists should be very attentive at the fruits of these plants.

North-west of Joseni, Harghita county, in the hayfields west of Mures river and north of Bacta rivulet, 12th of August 2010.
